About the role

The Cook is responsible for preparing a variety of food items following standardized recipes and production guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations and measure and prepare ingredients
• Operate kitchen equipment and cook using various methods
• Garnish, portion, and store food safely
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to food safety policies
• Maintain excellent customer service and security of assets

Requirements

• Prior experience as a cook or in a related role
• Knowledge of food preparation and safety regulations
• Ability to obtain food safety certification
• Strong communication skills
• Physical demands may include lifting, standing, and bending
