Cook - Closing Shift

About the role

As a Cook at Raising Cane’s, you will set the pace of the Restaurant by ensuring all of the food we serve meets our high standards. Working in the Kitchen at Raising Cane’s is a fun and fast paced environment. Crank up the music and have some fun while you are working hard to prepare the highest quality chicken finger meals for our customers to enjoy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food served meets high standards
• Prepare chicken finger meals quickly and efficiently
• Work all shifts: opening, closing, and everything in between
• Assist other crew members in completing tasks and assignments
• Show up to scheduled shifts on time
• Clean tables, floors, and other areas of the Restaurant
• Take orders from Customers and process payments
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and preparing food
• Multitask to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Previous experience not required; entry-level position
• Team player, excellent communicator, happy, courteous, enthusiastic, hardworking, attentive, responsible, dependable, authentic, and takes pride in doing a good job

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to kneel, bend, twist or stoop
• Must be able to ascend or descend stairs
• Must be able to reach and grasp objects (including above head and below waistline)
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to show up to scheduled shifts on time
• Must be able to follow proper safety procedures when handling and preparing food
• Must be able to multitask

Starting hiring pay at: $12.00
