About the role

This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance. Work alongside other talented culinary professionals to compose and prepare scratch-made dishes.

Pay

Competitive pay starting at $25.00/hour with eligibility for annual raises and bonuses.

Schedule

Daytime Monday-Friday hours (typically 7am - 3pm).

What you'll do

• Create and prepare scratch-made dishes with daily changing menus
• Contribute new ideas, from riffs on old favorites to entirely new concepts
• Reinvent traditional dishes with a focus on healthy, sustainable options
• Work on a variety of dishes and culinary techniques, including sushi and catering
• Move between venues to work with different people, equipment, and ingredients
• Take ownership of dishes from start to finish, ensuring quality and presentation
• Participate in catered events hosted at Epic

Requirements

• 3+ years of cooking experience in a professional kitchen and/or a Culinary Arts degree
• Fine dining or large-volume experience is a plus
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Live within 45 minutes of Epic's campus in Verona, WI or be willing to relocate
• COVID-19 vaccination
