Cook/Chef
This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.
About the role
Work alongside other talented culinary professionals to compose and prepare scratch-made dishes. Our menus change daily, offering opportunities for creativity, variety, and ownership in your work.
- Creativity: Whether it's a riff on an old favorite or something totally outside the box, we encourage new ideas. Epic is committed to providing healthy, sustainable options, giving chefs the chance to reinvent traditional dishes or create something brand new.
- Variety: Work on a new dish each day with opportunities to move between venues, explore catering, and try different techniques (e.g., rolling sushi). Catered events at Epic also provide chances to flex different culinary muscles.
- Ownership: You’ll have autonomy to take dishes from start to finish, ensuring they are both delicious and beautifully presented.
Pay
Competitive pay starting at $25.00/hour, with eligibility for annual raises, bonuses, and stock grants.
Schedule
Daytime Monday-Friday hours (typically 7am - 3pm).

Requirements
- 3+ years of cooking in a professional kitchen and/or a Culinary Arts degree.
- Fine dining or large-volume experience is a plus.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Live within 45 minutes of Epic's campus in Verona, WI, or be willing to relocate.
- COVID-19 vaccination required.
