About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative chef to join our culinary team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where creativity and innovation are valued.

Responsibilities

• Compose and prepare scratch-made dishes under the guidance of experienced culinary professionals.
• Contribute to the development of new menu items, both traditional and innovative.
• Collaborate with other culinary staff to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation.
• Assist in managing inventory and maintaining food safety standards.
• Work closely with Epic’s catering team to plan and execute various events.
• Take ownership of the culinary process, from concept to execution, ensuring dishes are delicious and visually appealing.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
• A Culinary Arts degree is preferred, but not required.
• Experience in fine dining or large-volume operations is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Pay

Schedule

Daytime Monday-Friday hours (typically 7am - 3pm).

Location

The position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. Financial relocation assistance is provided.
