Cook/Chef

About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative chef to join our culinary team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where creativity and innovation are valued.

Responsibilities

• Compose and prepare scratch made dishes under the guidance of experienced culinary professionals.
• Contribute to the development of new menu items, both traditional and innovative.
• Ensure dishes are both delicious and visually appealing.
• Work collaboratively with other culinary staff to enhance the overall dining experience.
• Assume responsibility for the preparation and presentation of dishes throughout the day.
• Participate in catering events and other special occasions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional cooking experience or a Culinary Arts degree.
• Experience in fine dining or large-volume operations is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, typically Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm.

Qualifications

• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Passion for creating and experimenting with new dishes.
• Willingness to relocate to Madison, WI, or be willing to relocate.

Pay

$25.00 per hour starting salary, with potential for annual raises and bonuses.

Schedule

Daytime Monday-Friday hours, typically 7am to 3pm.
