Cook/ Cashier in Plain Dealing

Responsibilities and Duties

• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items.
• Collaborate with the Management and Cooks to prepare meals.
• Follow Recipes and procedures.
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures.
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures.
• Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts.
• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift.
• Maintain a positive upbeat attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with short order scratch cooking.
• Enjoy working in a restaurant environment.
• Takes direction well and is effective at multi-tasking.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Understanding of the importance of teamwork in a kitchen environment.
• Experience with cash handling.
