About the role

This is a part-time temporary position until October 30, 2026. We are looking for someone passionate about health and providing appetizing, well-balanced meals for children ages 16 months to 5 years old at the Wilder Child Development Center.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve healthy, culturally diverse meals that represent the clients and families at the center
• Adhere to CACFP requirements for portion sizes and food production records
• Plan menus, track meals, and order food using Microsoft Office Suite and web browsers
• Work cooperatively as a team member in a child-centered, diverse environment

Requirements

• A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
• One year of experience cooking for and serving large groups of people
• Serve Safe certification (Food Manager’s License preferred)
• Basic math and reading skills
• Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$20.00 per hour
