About the role

The Food & Nutrition Cook position at TriStar Summit Medical Center seeks individuals passionate about creating positive patient interactions. This role requires an experienced cook with 1 year of relevant experience and a Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist.
• Integrate ethics in all areas of practice.
• Adequately adhere to confidentiality and patient's rights policies.
• Support the facilities' mission and values.
• Prepare food per recipe specifications for daily use on the patient line, retail areas, doctor's lounge, or for catered events.
• Read production sheets and forecast production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Degree / Equivalent.
• 1 year of cooking experience preferred.
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire.
