About the role
As a Cook at The Forest, you will be responsible for the preparation and serving of all food items in three different venues, and providing prompt and courteous customer service to residents, guests, and staff.Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve all food items in three different venues.
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service to residents, guests, and staff.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in food prep, handling, and cooking required.
- Prior experience in fine dining, Four & Five Star/Diamond Hotels and resorts is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills; able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
- Can-do spirit; able to build positive relationships with residents, family members, and staff.
- Customer service focus; able to resolve conflict/issues without becoming emotional or defensive.
- Strong time management skills; able to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion.
- General knowledge of proper safety and sanitation practices. ServSafe Certification highly preferred.
