About the role

TerraBella Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our communities at The Haven and The Laurel Carolina Place. This role is part of one of the largest senior living organizations in America, known for its Great Place to Work certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items using the grill, sauté station, salad-bar, and service line.
• Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods according to the menu cycle and standardized recipes.
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Senior Living preferred.
• Experience with production methods, portion control, and food handling safety required.
• Great organizational skills a must.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required.
• Must be able to work weekends.
