Major Duties and Critical Tasks
- Prepare and serve meals for residents and staff in accordance with food safety regulations and within physician’s/nutritionists’ dietary recommendations
- Maintain high standard of food preparation, sanitation, storage, and portion control
- Determine food and supplies needed for daily menus; obtain supplies in time for adequate production
- Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that quality, temperature, and appearance of food is preserved
- Auxiliary in scheduled cleaning duties following established sanitary standards
Other Duties
- Participates and assists in departmental studies and projects as assigned or as may become necessary
- Represents the facility at and participates in meetings as required
- Assists in standardizing work methods
Pay Rate: $17-$19/hr
