About the role

Part-time cook position at our 12-bed, home-like nursing facility in Lewiston. We offer a supportive work environment and a great team. Cooking experience is required, with preference given to candidates with experience in a healthcare environment. Must be able to cook home-style meals. Cleaning and organization skills are also required.

Schedule

12 p.m. – 6 p.m. twice a week and every other weekend from 5 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Weekend hours include a $2 pay differential.

Responsibilities

• Cook meals from scratch following therapeutic menus
• Food preparation
• Maintain knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
• Maintain a clean work environment, including washing dishes and cleaning floors
• Flexibility with schedule, including the ability to work every other weekend

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years of cooking experience
• Cooking experience in a healthcare setting preferred
