Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of food
- Maintain food quality, temperature and flavor
- Monitor food production for yield and cost control
- Practice and enforce sanitation policies
- Keep production and temperature records updated
- Report any issues to the Manager on duty
- Ensure refrigerators and freezers are clean and organized
Qualifications
- Equal to completion of four years of high school or the equivalent required
- Judgment and planning skills required for food preparation
- Two years experience in institutional food services, including institutional food service equipment required
- Must be able to pass Southcoast's written culinary exam
- Serv Safe Certification Required within 60 days of hire
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or be exempt for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying exemption once hired
Pay
Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range: USD $17.28 - USD $26.99 /Hr.
