Shorewood Landing is seeking a Full-Time Cook to join our team. Shorewood Landing is a senior living community tucked away in an oasis of lake living with all the benefits of the city, located minutes from the luxuries of Minnetonka and Excelsior within the peacefulness of Shorewood, Minnesota. This community includes independent living, assisted living, and memory care apartment homes, as well as supportive services to provide older adults choices to live well today and every day.

This community offers the following care options: Assisted Living, Assisted Living with Memory Care, and Independent Living.

This site is in proximity to: Excelsior, Minnetonka, Chanhassen, and Victoria.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality meals and dining experiences for customers by preparing and serving attractive, nutritious, and palatable meals consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of State and Federal food-handling regulations, including food service operations, is strongly desired.
• Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Pay

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $21.00 - $22.64 per hour. This estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.

Full-time benefits-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week:
