Cook Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of culinary customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere
- Participate in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and approved menus
- Adhere to state, federal, and company laws, regulations and guidelines
- Ensure food is prepared in a nutritional, appetizing fashion, and presented in an attractive manner
- Ensure that appropriate snacks are available to residents with special dietary needs
Cook Education & Experience
- A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment required
