Job Summary

The Food & Nutrition Cook at Parkridge Valley Child & Adolescent Campus is responsible for enhancing the preparation, cleanliness, and organization of food and supplies in the department. This role requires excellent customer service to both patients and employees.

Qualifications

• High School Degree / Equivalent
• 1 year of cooking experience preferred
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 30 days of hire

What You Will Do

• Demonstrate the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist
• Integrate ethics in all areas of practice
• Adequately adhere to confidentiality and patient's rights policies
• Support the facilities' mission and values
• Prepare food per recipe specifications for daily use on the patient line, retail areas, doctor's lounge, or for catered events
• Read production sheets and forecasts production needs
