Job Summary
The Food & Nutrition Cook at Parkridge Valley Child & Adolescent Campus is responsible for enhancing the preparation, cleanliness, and organization of food and supplies in the department. This role requires excellent customer service to both patients and employees.
Qualifications
- High School Degree / Equivalent
- 1 year of cooking experience preferred
- Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 30 days of hire
What You Will Do
- Demonstrate the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist
- Integrate ethics in all areas of practice
- Adequately adhere to confidentiality and patient's rights policies
- Support the facilities' mission and values
- Prepare food per recipe specifications for daily use on the patient line, retail areas, doctor's lounge, or for catered events
- Read production sheets and forecasts production needs
