About the Role

Join the Outback family as a Cook, where you will passionately prepare, portion, and cook food items to Outback’s quality specifications. You will be committed to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during your shift. You’ll help provide each customer with an AUS-SOME dining experience through your passion and commitment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to Outback’s diverse menu, ensuring speed and accuracy.
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness of your work area.
• Work as a team to achieve standards in food preparation and delivery.
• Adhere to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Use proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe specifications as directed by management.
• Practice food safety and sanitation, restocking the kitchen and cook line as needed.
• Positions available in Salad, Fry, Dessert, Sauté, Grill, Make Up, and Kitchen Prep.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
• Able to work in hot and cold environments.
• Ability to walk, stand, or bend for long periods.
• Vision abilities including distance, close, color, depth, peripheral, and focus adjustment.
