Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to scheduled shifts, ensuring quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Interpret menus to determine appropriate quantities, recipes, and food preparation methods
- Properly utilize leftovers and manage portion control to minimize waste
- Supervise food preparation activities and kitchen staff to ensure safety and efficiency
- Contribute to a positive dining experience for all participants and staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and storage
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of successful cooking experience in an institutional or camp kitchen setting
- Able to interpret menus and prepare food accordingly
- Knowledge of portion control, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and menu requirements

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Most weekends are required to work the 6:30 am to 2:30 pm shift and Monday 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm shift. The other 2 shifts are flexible.
