Qualifications and Skills
- Knowledge and understanding of cooking techniques.
- Prior experience within a high-quality restaurant, country club, hotel or senior living company preferred
- Able to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, residents, and guests and to follow standardized recipes.
- Able to operate kitchen equipment and tools found within the hospitality/health care industry.
- Current sanitation certification.
- Effective written communication skills, and the ability to read and interpret instructions.
- Reliable, predictable, and punctual attendance, to provide timely service to internal and external customers and to support uninterrupted business operations.
- Sensitive to the needs of older adults and enjoys working with a senior population.
- Able to work productively in a team environment.

Our culinary team prepares fresh, high-quality meals daily for multiple restaurants within our luxury senior living residence—and no two days (or menus) are ever the same.

You’ll help create memorable dining experiences for residents by preparing food with care, consistency, and attention to detail—while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and hospitality.

Pay
The hourly base wage range provided is a good faith estimate of what Mather reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. The actual hourly rate offered will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, certifications, years of experience, geographic location, and current market conditions.
Schedule
Full-time opportunities available. Weeknight, weekend, and holiday availability required.
