Responsibilities

• Assist Chef/Kitchen Manager in daily activities
• Consult with the Chef/Kitchen Manager on a daily basis to ensure that timing of orders and production schedules are coordinated
• Produce sandwich, salad, entree, catering trays and soup for the hot and cold cases
• Perform counter work during busy periods
• Deliver assigned orders and other orders as needed in a timely manner
• Assist the Chef/Kitchen Manager with ordering and maintaining inventory of fresh, frozen, and sundry products for use in the department
• Train new kitchen workers and assistants
• Prepare deep fried, baked, stove top foods, and salads
• Maintain positive relations with customers, vendors and employees
• Maintain Health and Safety sanitation requirements
• Hold a current Food Handler card

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional cooking experience
• Availability for any shift including weekends
• 18 years of age or older

Pay

This position starts at $16.10/hour up to $18.60/hour depending on experience, with growth opportunity up to $19.60/hour.
