Responsibilities

• Prepare station‑specific food items according to recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Monitor product storage, portion sizes, and special items such as stocks and sauces.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas to meet Health Department regulations.
• Ensure equipment is clean, sanitized, and operational.
• Uphold high standards of food production and presentation.
• Maintain personal hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Manage station setup, breakdown, and prep work.
• Follow recipe specifications for all food preparation.

Requirements

• Previous cooking experience required.
• 1–2 years in a similar position preferred.
• Culinary or Apprenticeship program preferred.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to work a varied schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to perform under pressure.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to use kitchen equipment such as knives, spoons, spatulas, tongs, slicers, etc.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull weights up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods, work in a confined, noisy environment with frequent interruptions, and perform duties within extreme temperature ranges.
• Ability to obtain any required local, state, or federal license or certification for sanitation, liquor service, or food service.

Pay

$21.84 per hour. Position is full‑time, hourly, and union‑represented.

Schedule

Varied schedule; includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Shift availability varies with weekend and holiday needs.
