This position is per diem with variable hours and may include weekend/holiday coverage. The Cook role is responsible for preparation of foods for patients, guests, residents, and employees. Assures the facility's cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Food safety certification required (e.g., ServSafe) and must be obtained within 3 months of hire
- One year of relevant food production experience required
- One year of specialized culinary training or institutional/retail cooking experience preferred
