About the role

As a Cook in the production department at Lyons Magnus, an international food and beverage manufacturer headquartered in Fresno, California, you will support production and related activities at our Fresno plant. This position is part of the food service division, contributing to the creation of over 2000 diverse products for industrial ingredient and food service sectors.

Responsibilities

• Support the mission, values, and vision of Lyons Magnus while prioritizing the company’s best interests.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with team members, demonstrating courtesy, discretion, and diplomacy.
• Follow formula instructions precisely, including weighing ingredients to meet specifications.
• Combine formulas and ingredients to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Test ingredients during the cooking process.
• Measure and weigh raw materials, and identify materials for formulations.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as kettle mixers, pumps, heaters, and electrical panels.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of food and beverage manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Experience with liquid and powder measurements.
• Strong forklift and industrial equipment skills (required).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred.

Pay

$17.00 - $21.50 an hour

Schedule

• Hours: 5:00 pm - 5:00 am
• Schedule: Monday - Friday (must be able to work weekends)
