Responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure residents receive the appropriate food items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs.
• Ensure the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures.
• Follow recipes for preparing large volumes of food.
• Provide residents with a pleasant and safe dining experience.

Requirements

• A tenth (10th) grade education is required.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow recipes and prepare large volumes of food.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including 1st shift and 2nd shift with potential Dietary Aide duties.

Skills

• Knowledge of food preparation and serving techniques.
• Ability to follow recipes and ensure food safety.
