About the role

We are currently searching for Cooks to join our friendly, caring and supportive team at Harmony Waterloo. Responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure residents receive the appropriate food items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs.
• Ensure the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures.
• Follow recipes for preparing large volumes of food.
• Provide residents with a pleasant and safe dining experience.

Requirements

• A tenth (10th) grade education is required.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow recipes and prepare large volumes of food.
• Attention to detail to ensure food safety and quality.
• Knowledge of dietary needs and preparation methods.
