About the role

We are currently searching for a Full-Time Morning Cook to join our friendly, caring, and supportive team at Avantara Pierre. The position offers opportunities for career growth and includes various benefits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure residents receive the appropriate food items for each meal in accordance with their dietary needs.
• Follow recipes for preparing large volumes of food.
• Ensure the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures.
• Provide residents with a pleasant and safe dining experience.

Requirements

• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of dietary needs.
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare large volumes of food.
