Cook
Job Description
The cook position reports to the manager or in their absence, the sous chef. Responsibilities include the production of food items for both patient and retail, prepping items for the next day's menu, supporting catering and other food outlets as needed, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year full-time or two years part-time as a cook or cooks assistant in a food service institutional setting is required.
- Appropriate food preparation experience in a commercial (restaurant) food service setting may be accepted with in the same time frame.
- Good basic mathematical skills and the ability to adjust recipes for volume.
