Position Purpose
The Food Service Production Rep (Cook) prepares specified items by following recipes and culinary standards set by the chef and retail manager.
As a ‘Food Service Production Rep (Cook)’
- Operates safely and effectively industrial kitchen equipment when needed and using appropriate culinary tools in a safe manner.
- Consistently keeps the department in a way that meets and exceeds all state, county and regulatory agency compliance.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have or be pursuing high school diploma or equivalent four years of work-related experience.
- Ability to use culinary tools such as knives, mixers, ovens, steamers, kettles, and slicers.
- Food Safety and sanitation knowledge.
- Ability to read and follow recipes written in English.
- Have or pursue high school diploma or equivalent.
- Read, write, speak, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
Preferred
- Retail cook, restaurant experience.
Pay Range
Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.85 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
