Responsibilities
- Prepares and cooks food for residents and staff using standardized recipes and complying with regulatory requirements
- Affirms that all prepared food items meet standards for temperature, quality, consistency, freshness, taste, and appearance
- Sets up and stocks stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepares food for service (chopping vegetables, butchering meat, crafting sauces)
- Cleans up the station and takes care of leftover food
- Stocks inventory appropriately
- Complies with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintains a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Six months to one year of cooking experience with similar large-scale food preparation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 60 pounds
- Pass a basic physical
- Pass a background check

Shifts vary: 6:00am - 2:30pm, 10:30am - 6:30pm
Every other weekend & holiday rotation requirement
