Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus and dietary requirements
- Ensure proper food portioning, quality, and presentation standards
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
- Auxiliary with meal service and tray preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including equipment and work areas
- Support daily kitchen operations and collaborate with team members
- Help ensure residents receive meals that meet their nutritional needs and preferences
Requirements
- Previous cooking or food service experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
