About the role
Ford’s Garage Line cooks prepare ingredients and assemble dishes following Ford’s Garage recipes and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepares ingredients and assembles dishes according to Ford’s Garage recipes and specifications.
- Works efficiently and quickly in a hot, noisy, and stressful kitchen environment.
- Accelerates business development by providing an innovative and entertaining dining experience that compels guests to become raving fans and fosters brand loyalty.
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic restaurant hospitality and a fully engaged, service-minded attitude.
- Food Safety certification, required by state law.
- Able to stand for up to 10 hours.
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Able to read, write, and speak in English.
- Good hearing for safety and accurate communication (with or without accommodation).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or High School equivalency preferred.
Skills
- Knowledge of basic restaurant hospitality.
- Engaged, service-minded attitude.
- Food Safety certification.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Reading, writing, and speaking in English.
- Good hearing for safety and communication.
