Job Summary
Cooks at Malibu Jack's are friendly, upbeat individuals with a desire to provide high quality food products, safely and efficiently. This role is responsible for ensuring that all menu items are prepared accurately, working with the team to manage low ticket times and uncompromising food quality, practicing safe food handling, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, and working under pressure.
Qualifications
- Kitchen experience preferred but not required.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty.

- Holds team accountable for quality, consistency, and upkeep of sanitization standards as set forth by company and state regulations

- Maintains highest levels of quality & presentation
- Accurately portions all orders to ensure low food cost
- Safety: Ensures areas are free from hazards that would potentially injure staff or guests
- Addresses and immediately corrects any practices that lower safety standards
Education and/or Experience
- Kitchen experience preferred, but not required
- Ability and willingness to eventually learn all stations on the line
Physical Demands

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, or stand on their feet for an extended period of time, bend and twist their body, and may be required to lift objects weighing up to 50lbs.
