Cook Position Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for customers
• Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils
• Execute opening and closing procedures
• Complete all required food and safety logs

Requirements

• Restaurant experience preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation and storage, sanitation requirements and commercial kitchen equipment
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to stand for the majority of the shift, lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Frequent bending, twisting, lifting and squatting will be required

$19/hour
