About the role
Prepares and cooks quality food for patients, staff, and visitors’ nutritional needs.
Responsibilities
- Determines amounts of foods needed, prepares grocery lists, fills supply needs, organizes daily and weekly preparation needs.
- Calculates daily production needs accurately and orders appropriately, ensuring the needs of patient meal service, cafeteria meals, catering events, and other meals are met.
- Fills in standardized recipes and assists in their development.
Requirements
- Prior cook experience preferred.
