Responsibilities

• Prepare tasty and pleasant-looking meals
• Meet the dietary requirements established by the physician’s order, including substituting menu items as needed
• Assure food items are appropriately stocked, labeled, and fresh
• Cover and store unused food according to standards and procedures for assuring quality and safety of food
• Clean work surfaces during shift—clean as you go: clean floors, wipe down counter space, and complete the daily cleaning schedule prior to shift end

Requirements

• Cooking experience in large quantities is required
• Ability to follow recipes and diet restrictions
