Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals in accordance with established menus and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure food is prepared, stored, and served safely while maintaining sanitation standards.
- Assist with menu execution, food inventory, ordering, and stock rotation.
- Accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and special meal requests as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming dining experience for students and staff.
- Follow all local, state, and company health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Age: 21+ years of age or older
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice or minimum of 2 years' experience working in Human Services.
- Skills: in preparation of a variety of foods, presentation, problem-solving, and cleanliness
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in food service, meal preparation, or commercial kitchen settings preferred.
- Certifications: Food Handler's Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) preferred.
