Cook Responsibilities
- Serve as a leader in the kitchen
- Work closely alongside the dietary director, dietary assistant, dietary aides, and cooks
- Guide all food functions
- Implement current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing skilled nursing facilities, long-term care, and assisted facilities
- Prepare meals in a timely manner
- Have time management skills
- Pull and properly store meat correctly
- Complete temp logs and cleaning schedules
Cook Requirements
- Must hold a valid Food Handlers Permit
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience as a Cook or similar role
- Working in a Skilled Nursing Facility experience is a plus!
