Cook
As our Cook, you will help patients, staff, and visitors of the healthcare facility by preparing delicious and nutritious meals, including specialized therapeutic diets, to support their well-being and recovery at Mark Twain Medical Center.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food according to menu guidelines and dietary requirements.
- Utilize various kitchen equipment such as slicers, ovens, and grilles.
- Follow healthcare foodservice industry standards, including monitoring food temperatures and preventing cross-contamination.
- Adhere to personal hygiene, precise labeling, and proper storage of all food and equipment.
- Perform washing and cleaning duties to ensure sanitation in cooking and serving areas.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One (1) year of food service experience.
- Strong understanding of safe cooking techniques, food allergies, and relevant food preparation laws and regulations.

Pay
$26.77 - $30.38 per hour.
