About the role
We are currently seeking applicants for Prep Cook positions. This position is often also referred to as Dietary Cook.
Responsibilities
- Prepare appetizers, meals, desserts, snacks, and special events foods under the direction of the Executive Chef.
- Assist in serving meals as necessary.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- One-year cook or dietary experience.
- Senior living, assisted living, nursing facility experience is helpful but not required.
- A great outlook, cheerful disposition, patience, and love of seniors are a must.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid food handler's permit.
Skills
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow recipes and procedures.
