Job Summary

To be successful as a cook at CHI Williston Health, you will:

• Provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality, respect, caring and compassion are at the center of all we do.
• Use various cooking techniques and methods to prepare meals that meet our customers’ expectations.
• Handle multiple food orders without compromising on quality.
• Handle and prepare food in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Plan the cooking and baking schedule to ensure food will be ready at specified times but not too far in advance.
• Use and adjust standardized recipes and adhere to therapeutic and consistency diet guidelines.
• Act as charge person in the kitchen in the absence of a supervisor.
• Participate in department communication and teamwork.
• Prepare proper amounts of food and assure good quality of final product.

Preferred Job Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Food service experience.

Pay Range

$17.28 - $24.41 /hour
