About the role

We are seeking a dependable Cook to prepare and present nutritious, appealing meals for Angoon's senior citizens.

Responsibilities

• Relating to staff, participants and volunteers in a positive manner
• Supervising and training kitchen staff
• Ordering food and supplies
• Preparing meals according to senior nutrition program guidelines
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen according to Alaska food service regulations

Qualifications

• Background check required
• Prior industrial kitchen experience preferred but we will train
• Must obtain State Food Worker's Card within 10 days of hire
• Must become CPR/First Aid certified within 30 days of hire

Pay

This position is part-time, 15 hours per week (5 hours/day Monday through Wednesday), starting wage $20/hour DOE.
