About the role

Caring Places Management is seeking a part-time Cook to join their team at Carriage Place in Prineville, OR. The ideal candidate will prepare healthy homemade meals for residents.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area - Assist with meal planning and menu preparation - Ensure food safety and quality standards are met

Requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent - Must be 18 years or older - Successful completion of a criminal background check - Current Food Handler’s License (or ability to obtain upon hire) - Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift up to 35 pounds routinely - CPR/First Aid certification is preferred

Qualifications

- Passionate about caring for seniors - Experience in a similar role is a plus
