About the role

Calyx Living is seeking an energetic Cook to join our assisted living community in Fuquay-Varina, NC. You’ll work with a small kitchen crew to prepare and present meals that positively impact the lives of seniors.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and plate food attractively
• Comply with state food-service regulations
• Prepare, organize, and handle minimal special requests from senior residents
• Interact with residents in a professional and friendly manner
• Work quickly and efficiently during peak meal-service times

Requirements

• Prior cooking experience required
• Experience in a senior-living setting preferred
• Must be available to work weekends
