Responsibilities
- Prepare and portion meals alongside the Chef to support both students and staff
- Follow menu plans and dietary guidelines provided by our Dietitian to ensure consistency and nutrition
- Auxiliary in prepping ingredients and meals in advance for weekends, ensuring a smooth and stress-free environment for the team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Bring warmth and positivity to the dining experience, helping students feel at home with every meal
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong knowledge of nutrition, health, and safety standards
- Experience ordering from food service vendors
- Experience preparing food for large groups
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients
Preferred Qualification
- Valid Food Handler's Permit or ServSafe Certification, preferred
- Minimum 2 years of cooking experience, preferred
