About the Role

Boston’s Restaurant and Sports Bar (“Boston’s”) is a family-friendly restaurant and lively sports bar specializing in handcrafted pizzas, scratch-made gourmet meals, craft cocktails, and local beers. As America’s Sports Restaurant, Boston’s brings the community together for sports events, birthdays, family reunions, coworker happy hours, fundraisers, and more.

You are applying for work with a franchisee of Boston’s Restaurant and Sports Bar, not Boston Pizza Restaurants, LP or any of its affiliates. If hired, the franchisee will be your only employer. Franchisees are independent business owners who set their own wage and benefit programs that can vary among franchisees.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food products according to Boston’s specifications and practices, ensuring high-quality product presentation.
• Maintain control over food, issuing it from the kitchen only when properly accounted for on a guest check or ticket.
• Follow standard recipes and methods to ensure consistency and efficiency for all menu items, including proper assembly, cooking, plating, and garnishing.
• Ensure guest meals are prepared in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining ticket time standards.
• Maintain a clean workplace and adhere to proper uniform standards while performing job-related tasks.
• Assist in the training and development of new team members as required.
• Ensure all products received meet Boston’s specifications, are invoiced correctly, and are properly dated, rotated, and stored.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards, including food safety practices, proper labeling, dating, rotation, and shelf-life standards.
• Maintain kitchen equipment by following cleaning and maintenance schedules.
• Perform other duties as required.
