Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
  • Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and presented attractively
  • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Aid in inventory management and ordering of supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and workspaces
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Adapt to special dietary requests and menu changes
  • Monitor food stock and minimize waste
  • Perform opening and closing duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Understanding of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus
