Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a full-time Cook for our Dietary department in Cass City, MI. We’re looking for individuals with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the highest quality of service to both our patients and employees.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with older adults desired
• Genuine desire to assist older adults with Dementia
• Previous experience in a healthcare facility food service department preferred
• Ability to communicate well with residents, their family members, and other staff
• Mature, friendly, and enjoy working with people
• Neat in appearance and good personal hygiene
• Must be 18 years of age
• CPR/First Aid Certified (willing to provide training if needed)

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as established policies and procedures
• Follow direction from the Food Service Team Leader to assure quality food service is provided at all times
