About the role
Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Cook for its Dietary Department located in Marlette, MI (Heartlands).
Responsibilities
- Prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed/instructed by the Food Service Team Leader to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in working with older adults desired.
- Must have a genuine desire to assist older adults with Dementia.
- Previous experience in a health care facility food service department preferred.
- Must be able to communicate well with residents, their family members and other staff.
- Must be mature, friendly and enjoy working with people.
- Neat in appearance and good personal hygiene.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be CPR/First Aid Certified. (willing to provide training if needed)
