About the role
We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Cook to join our high-energy kitchen team. In this role, you will work directly alongside our Executive Chef and Sous Chef to deliver world-class, health-conscious cuisine in a 100% gluten-free kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to prepare high-quality, health-conscious meals in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen.
- Aid in planning and executing a weekly menu that accommodates food allergies and intolerances while maintaining a 100% gluten-free kitchen.
- Prepare a broad range of meals from scratch using classic and modern cooking techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Support kitchen operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and readiness as the company continues to grow.
- Aid in onsite events hosted at AndHealth, including occasional evening and weekend events.
- Prepare leftovers and packaged “grab-and-go” dinners for employees working late.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, prep areas, and all food storage spaces according to established sanitation standards.
- Ensure equipment, cookware, dishes, and serving materials are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for service.
- Help manage inventory levels for food, beverages, and non-food kitchen supplies across dry, refrigerated, and frozen storage.
- Contribute to a positive, high-energy culinary environment with a shared commitment to hospitality and exceptional service.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma required
- Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or industrial kitchen setting.
- Ability to maintain a current ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
